Episode 26 — The Perfect Christmas Party
Journaling Prompt:
“What traditions shaped me — even if I’ve changed them — and how can I make room for others without losing myself?”
Reflection:
Think of “traditions” as the emotional fingerprints you carry — songs, smells, rituals, family sayings, foods, beliefs, even little winter memories.
Pick one tradition you still love, one you’ve outgrown, and one you’d like to reinvent. Then write one simple way you can practice “room for others”
this week without shrinking who you are. The goal isn’t to agree with everyone — it’s to stay grounded, kind, and real.
Episode 25 — The Human Heartbeat of Christmas
Journaling Prompt:
“What tradition from my childhood still warms my heart — and how can I bring that feeling into my creative life this week?”
Reflection:
Think back to one simple tradition that still makes you feel safe, seen, or loved — even if it was something tiny like a song, a smell, a food, or a moment of quiet.
This week, your job is to borrow that feeling on purpose. Bring it into your songwriting, your cooking, your planning, or the way you treat people.
You’re not trying to relive the past — you’re using the warmth of that memory as fuel for what you create today.
Episode 24 — Smooth and Easy: The Wall of Don
Journaling Prompt:
“What is one layer of my life I could strengthen this week — and what would the next layer look like once that’s in place?”
Reflection:
Think of your life the same way you think of stacked harmonies or a carefully layered track.
You don’t have to fix everything at once. Pick one layer—health, money, music, relationships, faith, or home—and give it a deliberate upgrade this week.
Then imagine what the next layer up would feel like once this one is solid.
Episode 23 — Smooth and Easy: Laying the Lyrics
Journaling Prompts (set):
“Where am I holding back and waiting for things to be perfect?”
“What small piece can I finish today — even if it isn’t perfect?”
Reflection:
This week is all about progress over perfection.
Instead of waiting for the “right time” or the “perfect conditions,” treat these prompts as a gentle shove forward.
Pick one small thing — a verse, a riff, a recipe, a decision — and move it one step closer to done.
Episode 22 — Smooth and Easy: The Spark
Journaling Prompt:
“What idea of mine still hums quietly in the background, waiting for me to come back and finish the song?”
Reflection:
Not every unfinished idea is a failure. Sometimes it was just early.
Let this week’s prompt guide you to dust off something you once set aside — a tune, a story, a plan — and give it air again.
Episode 21 — Be Your Own Voice
Journaling Prompts:
1. “What three traits or habits do I hide in my art or daily life that might actually be my real signature?”
2. “When was the last time I felt totally like myself — unfiltered, relaxed, confident?”
3. “Whose voice echoes in my head when I create — and am I ready to turn that one down?”
New prompts added with every episode — check back often.
