We explore the surprising history of Christmas cookies, share a classic homemade sugar cookie recipe, and take a deeper look at why “White Christmas” remains the most beloved and best-selling song of all time.

As Don puts it: “AI can imitate a sound… but it can’t imitate a heartbeat.” This episode blends holiday comfort with a gentle introduction to the season’s larger theme — understanding the value of human-made art in an age where machines are learning to mimic everything.

⭐ Christmas Song Fun Fact – “White Christmas”

Written by Irving Berlin and made immortal by Bing Crosby, “White Christmas” remains the best-selling song of all time. It connected because it wasn’t just a holiday tune — it captured longing, memory, and home at a moment when the world was deep in World War II.

AI can imitate a voice… but it cannot imitate longing. That’s why Christmas music will always have a human heartbeat.
