Spaghetti with Parmesan and herbs

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Β½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley or basil, chopped
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes

  1. Bring salted water to a boil and cook pasta until al dente. Reserve Β½ cup pasta water.

  4. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Serve immediately.
